On Tuesday August 4th the Turfcare team will be applying a granular fertilizer to greens. This application takes time and required 20-25 minutes of water following the application. Due to the time requirements we will bypass mowing and rolling for the day. This will result in slower greens to start this week that will be soft. This application is necessary. This is the summer feed that will carry our greens health into the end of the season. With the challenges we have experienced this summer with excessive rainfall, winds and extreme heats we have been unable to complete this process to date. While this is less than ideal as it relates to playing conditions we would expect ball roll to remain in the range by Wednesday albeit on the lower end. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this application this week.
